Story Salon is a magical, welcoming oasis in the San Fernando Valley. When I relocated to Los Angeles everyone said seek out Story Salon to share your stories, you won't be sorry. Story Salon runs a tight ship and you can feel confident you will be treated with respect and guaranteed a sympathetic audience each time. Even if you need to take a break, they will be there when you return. It's a wonderful cross section of everyone in Los Angeles, gathering to share stories, friendship, and good vibes. If you've ever wanted to share a story about your life, this is the place to start! I'm grateful for this long running storytelling evening. Check it out! Plus, everyone is just really nice.

I found Story Salon just before it shut down for the pandemic. I waited a year before being able to attend my first evening. My best friend and creative partner and I were delighted at our first evening. We both started scheduling stories immediately and have steadily increased the number of times we get up with a new story. We enjoy attending even when we aren’t telling stories. The variety of types of people, both entertainment professionals, and “civilians” who share their life experiences in creative ways for the entertainment of all who come to listen is astonishing. And Story Salon offers amazing snack snacks! I’m so glad we found Story Salon. The executive producer, Beverly is one of the most unique, lovely, delightful, and entertaining people I’ve ever met. She is inspirational. And the community of people who help put the evenings together are regulars have become like family. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
