The Family Room

I'm back at the Family Room for my second round of Mommy and Me with my 4 month old after having the most wonderful experience the first time around! The community I found through my first class series led by Denise has been absolutely critical in surviving the rollercoaster of parenthood. I'm now in class with Liz (who is equally amazing!!) and SO grateful for the group of moms I've met who are also finding their way with parenting two kids. Every class is filled with helpful ideas and support knowing we're going through the same things. The Family Room is so supportive, knowledgable, and a huge source of fulfillment throughout my postpartum experiences. I tell every new mom - it's a must!

The Family Room has been incredibly accommodating and supportive, especially as a parent of a preemie. From day one, I felt genuinely welcomed and never rushed or made to feel like my baby’s needs were an inconvenience. A special shoutout to the instructor, who intentionally builds in time before and after class for moms to connect, which makes a huge difference, and she creates a calm, flexible environment where nursing, soothing, and taking care of our babies feels completely normal and supported. That level of care and thoughtfulness is rare and deeply appreciated. Also worth highlighting: there is parking, which makes attending with a baby so much easier. Overall, The Family Room feels like a place that truly understands parents and babies and meets them exactly where they are.

Love the family room. It is a great place for parents to get support while they’re pregnant and after babies arrive. I met some of my best mom/parent friends here and bonus points because u ca grab coffee and pick up groceries without have to load and unload my babies!
