Literary Midwife Kathy Sparrow is an award-winning author, ghostwriter, and publishing consultant who has been mentoring aspiring writers of non-fiction, fiction, and poetry for over two decades. Many have penned bestselling books because of her book coaching services. Known as a “behind-the-scenes secret weapon” to thought leaders, Kathy specializes in the areas of self-development, leadership, and memoir. She was recently named one of the “Top 15 Book Coaches to Watch in 2023” by LA Weekly.
Her services include:
Collaborative Ghostwriting is a hybrid model combining the best of Kathy’s premier “Write Books That Change the World” coaching program with her writing and editing talents. The goal is to develop a manuscript that is ready for publication, as well as cull content that can be used for social media posts and blogs that build the buzz while your book is being written.
Writing Coaching - One to One and Group Coaching for blogs, books, and beyond. Here clients do their writing and receive guidance on developing their projects, as well as editing and marketing tips.
Developmental Editing - Do you have a “completed” manuscript? Now’s the time for an expert review your writing before you move into publishing.
Ghostwriting - Do you have a great idea for a book? Do you know that your life lessons will benefit others? But you don’t have time to write? Let Kathy do the heavy lifting so you finally get your book written.
Academic Coaching - Effective communication is vital––no matter what career path one chooses. With experience teaching in First Year Writing programs, developing curricula for composition and rhetoric, and sophomore literature classes, Kathy can guide you (or your child) through the process of crafting and developing well-organized and polished college entrance essays, persuasive arguments, research papers, technical proposals, and short stories for creative writing classes, more.
